We do this walk most mornings as its a good way to clear the head before starting a days work. However for some reason I never bring the camera with me! There’s only so much we can remember. For everything else, there’s photos. So when it came to choosing a photographer for the first ever professional portraits of my son, I was quite a harsh critic. Four hours I trolled through websites, not satisfied until I stumbled across the webpage for Stephen Devlin’s baby portraiture business, Jack Devlin, named after his adorable son. Straight away I fell in love with the intimately stunning photos. I was surprised to find that many of the photographs, in addition to being beautiful, were witty. Not a quality often seen in portraiture, but one that sealed the deal for me.

All throughout this process, every bit of contact I’ve had with Steve has been superb. From the initial email to the day we went to pick up the prints, it has all been a top notch experience. At the shoot itself, we were made to feel very comfortable. There was no pressure on my son to “perform”–Steve and his wife were patient and willing to work with us. There was no rush and they made sure we all were happy, especially our baby.

Honestly, we have no complaints over the service received–the level of care and attention to detail is impeccable. We’ll definitely be using Steve again in the future for all our family photographs.
