Manchester Band Photographer – F.O.A.K
This weekend we shot the band FOAK (First of a Kind) on Location in Manchester then back at the studio. The versatile rap and hiphop duo wanted some promo shots to promote their latest album launch and their ever growing success. Full of audacious Mancunian swagger, the lads were on it today and up for a laugh as well as a really productive day.
The 2 Manchester Lads Vlad and Daz were up for some moody and gritty shots to replicate their hard hitting lyrics. Castlefield was the perfect location with some amazing urban grime for the backdrop. With one being a Manchester United fan and the other a Manchester City supporter, it can be said that the pair are representing a unified front of their hometown. We managed to get both lads to each Stadium for some images. The day after City beat United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, it was hard for Daz to swallow but he dealt with the pain graciously as Vlad gloated upon Citys victorious 1-0 win.
The gorgeous KT Forrester, the talented Manchester singer who features in a selection of FOAK tracks was the perfect compliment to the shoot. No stranger to the camera, KT was a natural when it came to looking good.
We’ve no doubt this collaboration of talent is going to be a major success, with an already huge following and an ever growing fanbase, these guys really are the full package. If you haven’t heard of them, you soon will.
